Supernatural Exclusive: Jason Dohring is a God!
Jason Dohring is making his way around The CW.
The Veronica Mars vet has landed a plum guest spot on Supernatural, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Dohring will play Chronos, the God of Time, in this season’s 12th episode, slated to air in mid-January. The Greek deity is usually depicted as an old man with a beard, so we’re guessing the show is going in a very different direction here.
Dohring is currently recurring as Juliet’s teacher on The CW’s freshman thriller Ringer.

Supernatural Scoop: X-Files’ Nicholas Lea Is Eliot Ness, Once’s Red Riding Hood Seeks Out Sam
The CW’s Supernatural has found its Eliot Ness aka the legendary, real-life G-man who led The Untouchables.
The X-Files vet Nicholas Lea will step into the iconic role for a Season 7 time-travel episode that we first told you about, TVLine has confirmed.
Lea — a cult fave for his roles on sci-fi shows like V, Kyle XY and the aforementioned Fox drama — will appear in Episode 12, which finds the Winchesters visiting Ness’ professional heyday during the 1940s. There, it will be posited that the FBI agent also had another job — as a hunter!
Lea’s episode airs Jan. 13.
Additionally, Meghan Ory — who’s currently playing Red Riding Hood/Ruby on ABC’s Once Upon A Time — will guest-star in Episode 11 as Sally, a frightened “working girl” who comes to Sam for help. Zap2It first reported on Ory’s casting.

TV Line has an interesting spoiler. Not sure which episode it will be, but going by the title and timing, the spoiler could be for the episode 7.12 “Time After Time After Time”:
Supernatural | Should Sam and Dean get fitted for zoot suits? It appears that the CW series is booking a trip to the 1940s or thereabouts, seeing as a casting call has gone out for the role of – wait for it – Eliot Ness. Yes, as in the famous G-man who headed up The Untouchables. Specifically, the show wants an actor in his 40s who presents “an unyielding regality” and in a sharp suit is “the epitome of cool unflappability.” Oh, why am I still talking – y’all are busy imaging the Winchesters in zoot suits. Wakey-wakey!
