From Jensen’s Meet and Greet at Asylum 14
Well, we talked a little about Charlie and Jensen said how sad he was and how much he adores Felicia…and then he teased that she wasn’t going to be the last and that we lose someone else in the finale. His exact words were. “It hurt when I read it. It’s a fan favourite”.

he impression that I got from Jensen was that it was either Cas or Sam and that’s the same impression that basically every else in the room got too (I spoke to some of them afterwards). He expressed that the fans would be very very upset and that it shocked him when he read it. Whoever it is, it doesn’t mean that they won’t be back because, let’s face it, it’s supernatural. That’s the way his expression read to me anyway and I was in the room. Mark had been saying all weekend “WELL I DIE IN 22? but none of us knew whether it was a double bluff or what. Plus the teaser makes it look very obvious that it could be Crowley. Either way, Jensen said it’s something that we’ll never see coming and that it genuinely shocked him when he read the script. Crowley dying would hardly be shocking at this point.

Sam (Jared Padalecki) opened the season with a vicious determination to locate a missing black-eyed Dean (Jensen Ackles), and the possibility of seeing the elder Winchester turn once more will apparently bring out that vein of darkness once more.
“Sam does have a lot of darkness in him, so does Dean. I think it’s one of the themes that, as long as Supernatural is alive, that theme is going to be around. Both of these guys are struggling with their demons, struggling with their past,” Padalecki explained at Seattle’s Salute to Supernatural in March. “I think we will see Sam get dark. I know we do a little bit this season that you haven’t seen yet. So I think you’ll see it from Sam and Dean both.”
This announcement is far from a surprise considering the apparent “traumatic” arc of upcoming episodes, and it seems Dean and Sam will face challenges as seemingly insurmountable as those that preceded 2010’s “Swan Song.”
“We are filming the final arc of season 10 right now and it’s one of those really intense final arcs, I mean it’s probably the most intense I can remember since like season five or something like that,” Padalecki said said while in Seattle.

It’s that time of year again, Supernatural. Finale season is almost upon us, and the Winchesters are preparing to rip your heart out once more.
The finale, which is titled “My Brother’s Keeper,” is already being touted as far more upsetting than Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) season 9 demon transformation and Jared Padalecki confirmed the rumors while speaking at Seattle’s Salute to Supernatural.
“We are filming the final arc of season 10 right now and it’s one of those really intense final arcs, I mean it’s probably the most intense I can remember since like season five or something like that,” Padalecki said on Sunday, referencing the build up to 2010’s “Swan Song.”
Scheduling issues currently have The CW series filming out of order, allowing them to start filming the finale on Monday despite skipping episode 21 (“Dark Dynasty”).
“These final episodes are very traumatic,” Padalecki cautioned.
