Episode Description:

DEAN’S ONE NIGHT STAND HAS SERIOUS COMPLICATIONS; “THE VAMPIRE DIARIES” SARA CANNING GUEST STARS — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a case where the victims’ hands and feet have been severed and each have been branded with a strange symbol. While Sam does some research at a local university, Dean heads to one of his favorite places to investigate – the town bar. Dean strikes up a conversation with a local named Lydia (guest star Sara Canning, “The Vampire Diaries”), and the two go back to her place. Sam discovers the symbol on the bodies is a sign of Amazon warriors.

Jerry Wanek directed the episode written by Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner.

The CW Publicist Suzanne Gomes posted in her Twitter a few Tweet Teasers while watching the episode 7.13 “The Slice Girls”.

Damn. I really shouldn’t have started eating my lunch when I hit play. No one does an opener like Supernatural.

“That’s a great idea. Here’s my counter…'” Dean Winchester.

Shirtless Dean! And the return of the tattoo! #Supernatural

I think Dean misses his girl. And by girl, I mean the Impala. #SPN

What are they eating??? Ewww… #SPN

Yay! A Wonder Woman mention! #SPN.

Sam is really teasing Dean in this episode. Pretty funny. #SPN

Oh that’s definitely a squee moment for y’all! #SPN

***hands over my mouth*** I want to tell you but I can’t….eek!

Well, that’s no good Sam. Now what?? #SPN

Such a good episode! Didn’t want to spoil anything so couldn’t even think of what to say at the end that wouldn’t ruin it. Just more squeals

As if Sam and Dean haven’t been on wild enough of a ride this season, watch for a bit of a role reversal this spring. As Jared Padalecki reveals, “We’re shooting an episode where Sam finds himself in the same situation that Dean was in with Amy. So where it was Dean trying to do the right thing that a hunter would do, even though Sam insisted that he trusted this girl, now we find Sam in that situation, where Dean’s like, ‘Hey, I trust this person,’ and Sam’s going, ‘Well, you’re not in your right mind.’” Seeing the bros step into each other’s shoes, says Padalecki, should be fun for longtime viewers. “The tables turn a little bit, and we see what Sam and Dean would do in opposite situations.”

Supernatural Hot Shots: Dean Meets His [Spoiler]!

Trust issues will be rearing their head again in the Feb. 3 episode of Supernatural (The CW, 9/8c), and we’ve got a sneak peek at the new gal creating drama for the Winchesters.

As the latest promo reveals, Dean’s one night stand with The Vampire Diaries‘ Sara Canning will have very big consequences — like instant fatherhood big.

But it also means trouble for Sam and Dean’s relationship, which experiences a bit of a role reversal.

In the installment, “Sam finds himself in the same situation that Dean was in with Amy,” Jared Padalecki teased to TVLine. “So where it was Dean trying to do the right thing that a hunter would do, even though Sam insisted that he trusted this girl, now we find Sam in that situation, where Dean’s like, ‘Hey, I trust this person,’ and Sam’s going, ‘Well, you’re not in your right mind.’”

Ruh-roh, is Dean’s spawn demonic? From the pained expression on his face in the last photo below, it looks like we may have another “Heart” situation on our hands.

Ex-Vampire Diaries star Sara Canning is about to become the latest notch on Dean Winchester’s belt.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Supernatural has tapped Canning to guest star as a lust interest for Jensen Ackles’ demon warrior.

She’ll play Lydia, a character executive producer Sera Gamble describes as “wry, independent, and as fun-loving as Dean.” Gamble adds that she and Dean “have a memorable evening that takes an unexpected turn.”

The original casting breakdown for Lydia took things a step further, describing their encounter as a “sizzling one-night stand.”

Canning, who played Elena and Jeremy’s beloved Aunt Jenna on Diaries until she was killed off in last May’s bloodbath, will appear in Supernatural‘s 13th episode (slated to air in late January).

This is the description of what was going on, by a fan who was there, MartiniHoudini

@DearHeartxoxo Sorry my twitter stopped working for awhile. It was very cold waiting. We saw Jared do a small scene

@DearHeartxoxo He drove up to a building, came to a screeching halt jumped out of the car and ran into the building likesomething was

@DearHeartxoxo chasing him. He left after he was finished and I think they were going to film something else later but to cold so came home

Jensen wasn’t in the same scene:

@windykl Jensen Ackles was seen earlier in the day (not by me) at Century House but wasn’t at night shoot.

From  The CW Lounge:

The amazons are in the episode “Slice Girls” and they are filming it right now (I was on the set Monday night and it was definitely this episode). So it can’t be what we saw in the promo.

Question: My Aushole is twitching for some Supernatural scoop about Sam and Dean. Can you make the twitching stop? —Casey
Ausiello: Twitching Aushole? I think there’s a support group for that. Moving on… check out the following casting notice that just landed on my desk and tell me if you’re thinking what I’m thinking: “Lydia is in her late 20s, is striking and attractive. She picks up a man and has a sizzling one-night stand with him. But afterwards, she’s cold and indifferent — could that be because she’s part of a strange cult?” I’ve got a better question: Is the name of the man in question Sam or Dean? (Is that what you were thinking?!)
